Beth Ami Community Nursery School offers a summer program from June to early August. Summer school is offered as a series of 5 two-week sessions. This provides flexibility to families to register for part or all of the summer.
In 2010, summer sessions are held from June 7 through August 13.
During the summer, classes are smaller and we spend more time outdoors. We have a well-equipped play area for the children.
All currently enrolled children at BACNS, including graduating students, are eligible to participate in our summer session. We also accept new three and four year old students to support their transition to enrollment in the fall.
Children currently enrolled in the Twos have the option of attending summer session for any combination of Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday mornings, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. There is no extended day care for the Twos.
The Threes and Fours have the option of attending any combination of Monday-Friday mornings, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. With a minimum of four children signed up, extended day care for the Threes and Fours will be available from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm ($7/hour). There are no enrichment classes offered during the summer.
Snacks and water are provided by the school. Families must provide lunch for their child.
